Matter

 Matter (English: matter) refers to the element from which all material objects are made. Ancient Greek philosophers were the first to try to figure out what the world was made of. He named the basic particles atom, which is still in use today. If you look around you will see hundreds of types of things. Some of them are solid, some liquid and some gas. These are three different forms of matter which are apparently different from each other but intrinsically not. They are basically made up of identical particles called atoms.
